Xaraya is extensible, open source software written in PHP and licensed under the GNU General Public License. Xaraya utilizes robust permissions, data management and multilingual systems to dynamically integrate and manage content.

Xaraya's modular, database independent architecture introduces tools which separate form, function, content, and design. Xaraya delivers the requisite infrastructure for a fully dynamic multi-platform Content Mangement Solution (CMS).

Xaraya 1.1.4 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of Xaraya Core 1.1.4, a maintenance release offering further improvements and bug fixes on the 1.x series.

Instructions for new installs are included in the distribution files and via links in the installation script. For those upgrading, please make sure you check the distribution instructions in UPGRADE.txt or online, and then run the upgrade script. There are no major template or database changes in this release, or changes in the configuration file.

Core version 1.1.4 also includes a number of general improvements:

  • New OrderSelect Dynamic Data Property
  • General XHTML correctness
  • Duplicate entries in CACHEKEYS removed when a new entry added

This core release also includes bug fixes and specific enhancements. Please see the 1.1.4 changelog in the distribution package for full details of enhancements and bug fixes or the online version.

This release includes the Core, Base and Full distributions which have traditionally been released in the past.

Try Xaraya Now

You can try the current version of Xaraya now at our Demo Site.

You can log in with Administrator privileges using:

  • Username: Admin
  • Password: password

To get the most from the site you should try creating an item such as a new document, or new publication types, set up a poll or two, or even try your hand at adding a few new users - to experience the flexibility and extensibility of Xaraya. Browsing the interface alone will not reveal Xaraya's underlying functionality.

The site is renewed on a regular weekly basis, and more often if needed. If you do find that the site needs to be refreshed to enable you to try a specific operation, then please contact us and let us know. Keep in mind that some functionality is removed for security reasons.
